        What makes a film a "comedy"?


    A film with light-hearted dramas that entertains, amuses, and causes enjoyment is a comedy. They're made by over-exaggerated situations, actions, and characters. Comedies are made to challenge the frustrations of life and bring enjoyment to them. The different ways this is done cause the different types of comedy in films. These include slapstick, deadpan, verbal comedy, screwball, dark comedy, and parodies.  For our movie, we're going to use aspects of slapstick and verbal comedy. We plan on incorporating this through a light-hearted chase scene.
